Developing and applying experimental protocols and computational algorithms to infer gene regulatory networks, to elucidate mechanisms of genetic diseases
The di Bernardo group has expertise in reverse-engineering gene regulatory networks from high-throughput data both in yeast and mammalian cells using differential equations and information theoretic approaches. In addition, they are also experts in Synthetic Biology, and specifically, in the construction and modelling of synthetic regulatory circuits in yeast and mammalian cells.
